Hi, I’m Claire, the owner of Sturdy Walks, based in Northallerton and offering professional dog walking services across the surrounding areas.
Dogs have been a part of my life for over 40 years, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Ever since I was young, I’ve had a real passion for dogs and always dreamed of doing something like this for a living. When the time finally came when I could turn that passion into a career, I decided to take the leap and create Sturdy Walks, and I honestly haven’t looked back since.
I understand that every dog is different, with their own personality, routine and needs, which is why I make sure each walk is tailored to suit them. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, gentle strolls, or simply having some one-to-one attention and company, I will always make sure they feel safe, happy and cared for.
For me, this is much more than just walking dogs. I genuinely care about every furry friend I meet and treat them as if they were my own. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog, and I pride myself on being reliable, caring, and trustworthy. Your dog’s safety, happiness and wellbeing will always come first with me.
For extra peace of mind, I am fully DBS checked, First Aid trained, and CPR trained, so you can feel confident knowing your dog is in safe hands while out on their walks.
